If you have ever wanted a build that wipes whole screens with one shot and keeps you moving like lightning, the Lightning Arrow Deadeye is where it’s at. It’s got that perfect mix of speed and explosive damage that makes you feel like you’re racing through the game. You move fast, you shoot faster, and the moment enemies appear, they’re gone. Sure, you are not stacking layers of defence here, but when nothing survives long enough to hit you, it hardly matters. And with PoE 2 Items becoming more relevant ahead of Path of Exile 2, now’s a pretty good time to master it.

The Deadeye ascendancy fits Lightning Arrow almost too perfectly. First thing you grab is Gathering Winds – that tailwind buff makes your movement and attack feel snappy right from the start. Then there’s Far Shot, which is basically free damage the further your arrows travel.

Since you want to keep distance anyway, it’s effortless extra power. Ricochet is the icing on the cake; that extra chain means your arrows skip through packs, clearing enemies you cannot even see yet. Together, these nodes make the build feel insanely good for mapping.

Skill-wise, it’s pretty simple. Lightning Arrow is your main clear tool, and you link it with supports that add projectiles and boost elemental damage – nothing overly complicated. The classic weak spot for this setup is single-target, especially bosses. That’s where a ballista setup comes in. Drop an Artillery Ballista, stack it with powerhouse damage supports, and you’ve got a safe, reliable boss killer. For auras, Wrath gives you a huge flat lightning damage boost, and Grace pairs nicely with Deadeye’s kit, helping you dodge hits when things get hairy. You end up with both speed and a sliver of survivability without having to change the core playstyle.

Gear makes or breaks this build. Your bow is the heart of your damage, so aim for high lightning damage, quick attack speed, and solid crit chance. At the start, a decent Spine Bow does fine, but you’ll really want a crafted endgame bow down the line. The rest of your gear? Cap your resists, get a healthy chunk of life, and stack spell suppression wherever you can.

Evasion gear is ideal, working perfectly with Grace and your ascendancy buffs. It’s a build that can run well without perfect gear, but sinking some currency into a killer bow will take you miles ahead – and grabbing poe2 cheap divine orbs can make that upgrade way easier.
